Tomorrow will never come.
An excerpt/poem: From a friend
“Put yourself in my shoes,
You breathe with reluctance because unfortunately, you’re here. Here mean so many things to you. Here, as in this city, this house, this mindset, this life, you. You hold your valuables with no care because you don't find this place to be home. This is no more than a resting place on the road, so you go through life, littering people. you say you're a nice person, are you really? you think kindness is a title you can get because you didn't hurt anybody, at least not physically. love, I don't have any room, I can’t carry you too.
you embrace today as if it’s your last, not with love and gratitude, but with a high school attitude because you think this might be the day you find the courage to finally leave. but I know you better than you think, your mind is scratching to get out, to get free.
You say ‘tomorrow will never come’ with such ease.
You're afraid of tomorrow because it is the only contender you can't beat, because at night when you close your eyes, tomorrow will get everything you fought for eventually. You hate the waiting, patience was never a friend. To you, tomorrow is “ when…”, tomorrow is an empty promise, because you only have today. Waiting is the one who gave you all the pain, leaving is what saved you, now eased the heartache…
Hopefully, you learn tomorrow is your safe, not the thief that took today, but now, that was once yesterday.”
